The Midwestern country singer Clayton Anderson, who grew up in Bedford, Indiana, was a man who found his passion for music with no idea he was passionate.

He was a typical person in college seeking education and trying to get a portfolio to get a high pay job. That was the case until he started playing the guitar. He wanted to learn to play the instrument as a hobby and even attract women. However, this became more than a hobby as he played the guitar more at bars and parties.

After college, Anderson performed in the Next Big Star battle-of-the-bands at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, in ‘08, hosted by Kenny Chesney (performer of rock and country). With his band, he won the competition.

This victory gave Clayton Anderson the drive to take music seriously. He started living in Nashville while releasing his first album in 2011, Torn Jeans & Tailgates. He has also made hits such as “All Over the Map” and “In the Dark.”
